6 Weeks yoga Course

The overall intention for this six-week course is to offer the student the opportunity to get acquainted with a friendly yoga practice, to approach yoga in a wholesome manner by introducing philosophical concepts to support this journey, and hoping to inspire the cultivation and appreciation for yoga.

COURSE CONTENT

Foundations of Yoga: Progressive learning covering postures (asanas), alignment, variations, sequencing, and breath (pranayama).

Restorative Yoga Emphasis: Introduction to the importance of relaxation with a focus on restorative yoga postures.

Mindful Breathing: In-depth focus on breath awareness.

Posture Breakdown and Alignment: Detailed breakdown of postures for a better understanding of alignment and benefits.

Personalized Progress: Personalized attention fosters individual progress in a supportive and stimulating environment, including modification techniques for comfort and guidance on the correct use of props.

Philosophical Threads in Practice: Weekly exploration of six definitions of "what is yoga?" according to philosophical texts, woven into each class theme.
